There will be changes in public transport traffic during Toyota Riga Cycling Marathon on June 3

„Rīgas satiksme” informs that during „Toyota Riga Cycling Marathon” on June 3, from 10:00 until 17:00 approximately, there will be changes in public transport traffic and some public transport stops will be closed at Mūkusalas Street, Bauskas Street and Krasta Street. During the above period, passengers using monthly tickets for changed trolleybus or bus routes will be allowed to use these tickets on other bus, trolleybus and tram routes, without registering their trips.

Buses

Bus No. 10 will run from terminal „Abrenes Street” by the route to Akmens Bridge, then along Akmens Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further by the route. In the direction of the city centre, bus No. 10. will run by the route to Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve, then along Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve to the place of roundabout for movement in the opposite direction, without reaching  Mūkusalas roundabout, then along Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve to the turn to Bauskas Street, then along Bauskas Street, Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, Akmens Bridge and further by the route.

Bus No. 12 will run in the direction of cooperative society „Ziedonis” by the route to Satekles Street, then along Satekles Street, 13th January Street, 11th November Embankment, Akmens Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Jelgavas Street, Bauskas Street, Ziepniekkalna Street, Jāņa Čakstes gatve, Bauskas Street and further by the route. In the direction of the city centre, the bus will run without changes.

Bus No. 23 will run from terminal „Abrenes Street” by the route to Akmens Bridge, then along Akmens Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Jelgavas Street, then by the route to Ziepniekkalna Street, then along Ziepniekkalna Street, Jāņa Čakstes gatve, Bauskas Street and further by the route. In the direction of the city centre, bus No. 23 will run by the route to motor road A7, then along motor road A7, Ziepniekkalna Street, Bauskas Street, then by the route to Jelgavas Street, then along Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, Akmens Bridge and further by the route.

Bus No. 26 will run to Katlakalns by the route to Akmens Bridge, then along Akmens Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further by the route. In the direction of the city centre, the bus will run by the route to Jelgavas Street, then along Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, Akmens Bridge and further by the route.

Buses No. 13, 30, 37, 41 and 53 during the cycling marathon will run from Pārdaugava to the city centre across Vanšu Bridge, without going to Ķīpsala. Bus stop „Ķīpsala” will be transferred to the mainline.

Bus No. 57 will not stop at stop „Ķīpsala” in the direction of the city centre during the cycling marathon.

Trolleybuses

Trolleybus No. 5 will run from Pauls Stradiņš hospital to “Daugava” stadium across Vanšu Bridge, without going to Ķīpsala. Bus stop „Ķīpsala” will be transferred to the mainline. In the direction of Pārdaugava, trolleybus No. 5 will run without changes.

Delays are expected on trolleybus No. 9, due to the restriction of traffic in Raņķa dambis and Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street (before Vanšu Bridge).

Trolleybus No. 12 will run from Āgenskalna priedes to Šmerlis across Vanšu Bridge, without going to Ķīpsala. Bus stop „Ķīpsala” will be transferred to the mainline. In the direction of Pārdaugava, trolleybus No. 12 will run without changes.

Trolleybus No. 19 will run from Pētersalas Streets to Ziepniekkalns and back straight across Salu Bridge, without reaching Mūkusalas turnabout (like bus No. 40).

Trolleybus No. 25 will run from Iļģuciems to Brīvības Street across Vanšu Bridge, without going to Ķīpsala. Bus stop „Ķīpsala” will be transferred to the mainline. In the direction of Pārdaugava, trolleybus No. 25 will run without changes.

Trolleybus No. 27 will run from Ziepniekkalns to Railway Terminal Square by the route to „Bieķensalas Street”, then along Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, Akmens Bridge and further by the route. From Railway Terminal Square, trolleybus No. 27 will run across Akmens Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further by the route.

Given the above, please take into account that the routes of trolleybuses No. 14, 17, 18, 19 and 23 going to trolleybus depot No. 2 will be changed.
